Happy holidays to everyone. Its been a while since I posted on my blog, better late than never. This season is a season of giving, a season of love, a season of fun with close family and friends.
Some weddings anniversaries, some funerals (unfortunately) and some will be alone. Find someone to share the holidays with, don’t sit home alone. Drink in moderation and have fun.
Comfort one another, have fun and celebrate. Most of all love God and thank him for another year you’ve lived to see another year end and a new one come begin.
It’s that time of year again and as a christian, we celebrate Resurrection Sunday as a day of remembering Jesus Christ for all that he has done for us. We have a lot to be thankful for. We are a blessed people. Take a look at those things going on all over the world, all the fighting, killing, lives being destroyed by all kinds of violence.
There is really no such thing as a peaceful demonstration anymore. Jesus Christ came to save those who were lost and those who have accepted him will live in eternity or heaven with him. Christ is our example of a peaceful demonstrator. Everywhere he went he wanted nothing but peace, even when storms arose, he spoke to them and they calmed.
There is a lot we can learn from Jesus Christ for our daily lives. Do you know him? Do you have a relationship with him? The world is crumbling around us, take the time to thank God for everyday you have with family and friends. Know that you are loved beyond what your mind can conceive, not by people per se, but by a God who loves unconditionally.
Go to that neighbor and shake hands with him/her or give them a big hug and say, “Have a nice day”. This will be an eye opener, especially for those neighbors who love starting trouble, or an argument, show them some love. You have to be consistent, hitting and missing doesn’t work.
For those of you who buy Easter Lilies whether six inch pot or 8 inch pot, here are a few rules of engagement for this plant. Maintain moderately moist soil and fertilize monthly when actively growing. Keep the climate between 60-75 degrees Fahrenheit with partial sunlight. Enjoy the plant and don’t feel embarrassed by talking to it. Plants help to promote energy and remove toxins from indoor air.
Be have a great and safe Easter weekend.
